Part A - Website Warranty Information Page

Public-facing English master copy for TERKKIN.com / warranty. This can be localized for each regional website. Avoid displaying the internal notes in green boxes on public webpages.

TERKKIN Limited Warranty

TERKKIN products are designed for long-term outdoor use and supported by clear, parts-based warranty service. Register your TERKKIN product within 90 days of the original purchase date to activate extended commercial limited warranty coverage and direct manufacturer parts support.

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship of covered components under normal private residential use, subject to proper assembly, solid and level foundation, anchoring, use, and maintenance in accordance with the TERKKIN user manual.

This warranty does not cover improper assembly, improper foundation, failure to anchor, misuse, modification, commercial use, normal wear, fading, weather damage, acts of nature, labor costs, installation costs, dismantling or reassembly costs, or loss of stored items.

This Extended TERKKIN warranty applies only to United States/UK/France/Germany.

Important Legal Notice

This TERKKIN commercial limited warranty is provided voluntarily by TERKKIN. It is in addition to, and does not replace, limit, or reduce, any statutory rights you may have against the seller, retailer, distributor, marketplace, or installer under applicable consumer protection laws.

Registration is required to activate TERKKIN extended commercial warranty benefits, except where registration as a condition of coverage is prohibited by applicable law. Unregistered products remain subject to the original seller’s return policy, any seller-provided warranty, applicable statutory rights, and TERKKIN’s Basic Limited Manufacturer Warranty described below.

How TERKKIN Warranty Works

Product Registration

To activate extended commercial warranty coverage, register your product within 90 days of the original purchase date at terkkin.com/register or by scanning the Warranty QR Code included with your product.

Registration helps TERKKIN verify the product version, identify the correct replacement parts, reduce duplicate claims, provide safety or recall notices, improve assembly instructions, and deliver faster parts support.

You will need:

· Product Serial ID / Warranty QR Code

· Model number and SKU

· Proof of purchase showing seller, purchase date, and product

· Sales channel or retailer name

· Delivery address and contact information

· Photos of the completed installation when requested for warranty verification

Warranty Summary

Public-page rule: every product page and manual must state the specific warranty term for that SKU. If a product page conflicts with this general page, the shorter/specific product-page term controls unless local law requires otherwise.

What Is Covered

TERKKIN Limited Structural Warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that cause covered structural components to fail under normal private residential use.

Covered structural components may include, depending on the product: wall panels, roof panels, floor panels, main frame members, main door panels, door frames, structural reinforcement bars, and other structural components expressly listed in the applicable product manual.

Covered finish defects may include abnormal peeling, abnormal delamination, abnormal coating failure, or abnormal decorative surface separation caused by a manufacturing defect. Normal fading, color variation, surface dirt, stains, scratches, scuffs, and environmental aging are not covered.

Foundation and Anchoring Requirements

The product must be assembled on a solid, level, stable, well-drained, and properly elevated foundation. Acceptable foundations may include concrete slab, treated wood platform, paved hard surface, or other foundation type expressly approved in the user manual.

The product must be anchored according to the user manual immediately after assembly. Anchoring is required for product stability, wind resistance, and extended warranty validity. Damage related to improper foundation, ground movement, inadequate drainage, failure to anchor, inadequate anchoring, or installation on grass, soil, soft ground, uneven ground, or standing water is not covered.

What Is Not Covered

· Improper assembly, skipped steps, incorrect parts, incorrect fasteners, over-tightening, under-tightening, or installation not in accordance with the user manual

· Improper foundation, uneven surface, ground movement, sinking, poor drainage, direct installation on grass, soil, mud, gravel not approved by the manual, or standing water

· Failure to anchor, inadequate anchoring, use of non-approved anchors, or anchoring to an unsuitable surface

· Wind, storm, hurricane, tornado, hail, lightning, flood, heavy snow, ice, blizzard, earthquake, fire, falling trees or branches, animals, insects, rodents, or other acts of nature

· Weather damage, water intrusion caused by weather, open doors, missing locks, clogged drainage, improper installation, or maintenance failure

· Commercial, public, rental, institutional, construction-site, agricultural, industrial, office, habitation, or non-storage use unless covered by a separate written commercial warranty

· Modification, cutting, drilling not directed by the manual, painting, repainting, coating, relocation, reassembly, unauthorized repair, or use of non-TERKKIN structural parts

· Normal wear and tear, fading, discoloration, chalking, stains, scratches, dents, scuffs, minor warping, color variation, cosmetic aging, and surface rust caused by scratches or environmental exposure

· Damage caused by hot equipment, grills, flammable chemicals, corrosive materials, excessive loads, leaning heavy items against walls, climbing on the roof, or use contrary to the product instructions

· Labor, installation, dismantling, reassembly, foundation repair, third-party service charges, stored-item loss, business interruption, loss of use, incidental damages, consequential damages, or punitive damages to the maximum extent permitted by law

Commercial, Public or Non-Residential Use

Unless TERKKIN agrees otherwise in writing, products used for commercial, public, rental, institutional, construction-site, agricultural, industrial, or other non-private residential purposes are covered only by a 1-Year Commercial Limited Warranty.

Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Parts

How to Make a Warranty Claim

1. Go to terkkin.com/warranty-claim or scan the Warranty QR Code in the manual.

2. Enter your Product Serial ID, model number, order number, sales channel, purchase date, and contact details.

3. Upload proof of purchase, photos or video of the issue, photos of the completed product, foundation, anchoring points, and affected part numbers.

4. Do not discard the product, affected parts, packaging, or proof of purchase until the claim is resolved. TERKKIN may request additional photos, videos, or return of affected parts for inspection.

5. TERKKIN will review the claim and determine the appropriate remedy under this limited warranty.

Warranty Remedies

TERKKIN will determine the remedy at its sole discretion, subject to applicable law. Remedies may include troubleshooting support, replacement parts, replacement components, store credit, replacement product, or prorated refund. TERKKIN is not required to provide the remedy preferred by the customer if another reasonable remedy is available.

If TERKKIN approves whole-product replacement, the replacement product does not restart or extend the original warranty period unless required by law. If TERKKIN approves a prorated refund, the refund is calculated based on the activated warranty period for the product and the time elapsed from the original purchase date.

Authorized Sellers and Original Purchaser

This commercial limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser of a new TERKKIN product purchased from TERKKIN or an authorized TERKKIN seller, marketplace listing, distributor, retailer, or dealer. It is not transferable unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Products purchased used, second-hand, open box, returned, refurbished, clearance, auction, liquidation, salvage, unauthorized reseller, or without valid proof of purchase are not eligible for TERKKIN extended commercial warranty unless TERKKIN confirms eligibility in writing.

User-Generated Content and Photo Permission

You may voluntarily upload completed-installation photos to help TERKKIN verify installation, improve product support, and provide better parts service. Marketing use is optional and requires separate consent. TERKKIN will not require you to provide a positive review or a specific rating in exchange for warranty coverage.

If you separately authorize TERKKIN to use your photos or story for marketing, TERKKIN may provide an optional parts-support benefit, coupon, or loyalty reward. This marketing authorization is voluntary and separate from your statutory rights and standard warranty rights.

Part B - Country and Region Legal-Rights Addenda

These addenda should be included on the relevant regional warranty page. They should be reviewed by local counsel before publication. The TERKKIN product warranty period should remain globally consistent where possible; legal-rights statements and service logistics should be localized.

United States Addendum

This is a Limited Warranty. It gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Registration is required to activate extended commercial warranty benefits except where prohibited by law. In states where registration cannot be required as a condition of warranty coverage, failure to register will not reduce rights that cannot legally be conditioned on registration.

TERKKIN’s written warranty terms are available before purchase at terkkin.com/warranty and through the QR code on packaging and product pages. TERKKIN does not provide a Full Warranty and does not provide on-site repair, on-site installation, or labor reimbursement.

Canada Addendum

This limited manufacturer’s warranty is provided voluntarily by TERKKIN and does not affect any rights you may have under applicable provincial or territorial consumer protection laws. For Quebec and other French-language requirements, provide a French version of this warranty before sale.

French short notice: La présente garantie limitée du fabricant TERKKIN s’ajoute aux droits dont vous pouvez bénéficier en vertu des lois applicables sur la protection du consommateur et ne les limite pas.

United Kingdom Addendum

This commercial warranty is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights. The seller may remain responsible for faulty goods under UK consumer law even if a manufacturer warranty has expired or has not been activated. TERKKIN extended commercial warranty benefits require product registration within 90 days unless prohibited by applicable law.

UK positioning note for public copy: Unlike traditional timber anti-rot guarantees that may cover only rot or insect damage, TERKKIN’s structural warranty covers covered structural components against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to proper foundation, anchoring, installation, use, and maintenance.

European Union Addendum

This TERKKIN commercial warranty is a voluntary commercial guarantee. It does not replace, limit, or reduce the legal guarantee that consumers may have against the seller under EU and national consumer laws. The legal guarantee is separate from TERKKIN’s commercial limited warranty.

TERKKIN may require product registration to activate additional commercial warranty benefits, but registration does not reduce statutory legal guarantee rights against the seller.

France Addendum / France

La présente garantie commerciale limitée TERKKIN est accordée volontairement par TERKKIN. Elle s’ajoute aux garanties légales dont bénéficie le consommateur, notamment la garantie légale de conformité et la garantie des vices cachés, et ne les limite pas.

L’enregistrement du produit dans les 90 jours active les avantages commerciaux étendus TERKKIN, sauf lorsque la loi applicable l’interdit. Les droits légaux du consommateur à l’encontre du vendeur restent inchangés.

Germany Addendum / Deutschland

Diese freiwillige kommerzielle TERKKIN-Garantie gilt zusätzlich zu Ihren gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsrechten gegenüber dem Verkäufer und schränkt diese nicht ein.

Die Produktregistrierung innerhalb von 90 Tagen aktiviert die erweiterten kommerziellen Garantieleistungen von TERKKIN, soweit dies nach anwendbarem Recht zulässig ist. Gesetzliche Rechte gegenüber dem Verkäufer bleiben unberührt.

China Addendum / 中国大陆

TERKKIN 有限质量保证是 TERKKIN 自愿提供的厂家商业保修，不替代、不限制、不削弱消费者依据中国法律、平台规则或原销售方政策享有的退货、更换、修理等权利。

消费者应在购买日起90天内完成产品注册，以激活 TERKKIN 延长商业保修。已安装、已使用的大件 DIY 产品是否适用无理由退货，应以中国法律、平台规则、商品完好状态及销售页面说明为准。质量问题按法律、平台政策及本保修条款处理。

Japan Addendum / 日本

本限定メーカー保証は、TERKKIN が任意で提供する商業保証です。適用される日本法に基づき消費者が有する権利を排除、制限、または減少させるものではありません。

延長商業保証を有効にするには、購入日から90日以内の製品登録が必要です。ただし、適用法で禁止される場合を除きます。誤った施工、基礎不良、固定不足、改造、通常摩耗、天災、台風、強風、大雪、洪水による損害は、本保証の対象外です。

Korea Addendum / 대한민국

본 TERKKIN 제한 제조사 보증은 TERKKIN이 자발적으로 제공하는 상업적 보증이며, 관련 소비자 보호 법령에 따른 소비자의 권리를 대체하거나 제한하지 않습니다.

구매일로부터 90일 이내에 제품 등록을 완료하면 TERKKIN 연장 상업 보증 및 제조사 부품 지원이 활성화됩니다. 단, 관련 법률상 금지되는 경우에는 그러하지 않습니다.

International Addendum

For countries not covered by a specific TERKKIN regional warranty page, this international limited warranty applies only to new TERKKIN products purchased from authorized sellers. The original seller, importer, or distributor may be the first point of service. TERKKIN may provide remote troubleshooting and parts support, but does not cover import duty, customs fees, third-party freight, local labor, dismantling, reassembly, or installer charges.

Part C - Product-Line Warranty Definition Matrix

Internal master matrix. Use specific SKU-level PDP/manual terms where needed. Do not publish future product-line terms until the product is launched and tested.

Part D - Instruction Manual Warranty Card

Print-ready content for placement near the front or back of TERKKIN product manuals. For small manuals, use the short card. For full manuals, use the extended card plus QR links to the full website terms.

D1. Short Warranty Card - English

TERKKIN WARRANTY CARD

Register your TERKKIN product within 90 days of purchase to activate extended commercial limited warranty and direct manufacturer parts support. Scan the Warranty QR Code or visit terkkin.com/register.

Keep this manual, your proof of purchase, product label, and Product Serial ID. Do not return the product to the store before contacting TERKKIN or your seller for parts support.

Required for warranty claim: Product Serial ID, proof of purchase, model/SKU, affected part number, photos or video of the issue, and photos of the completed installation, foundation, and anchoring points.

D3. Extended Manual Warranty Terms - Insert Copy

The following extended terms can be inserted into the manual after the short warranty card or printed as a separate warranty booklet.

1. Coverage

TERKKIN warrants that eligible covered components will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the applicable warranty period when used for normal private residential outdoor storage purposes and when assembled, anchored, used, and maintained according to the user manual.

2. Registration

Product registration within 90 days of the original purchase date is required to activate extended commercial limited warranty benefits, except where prohibited by applicable law. Registration requires Product Serial ID, proof of purchase, contact information, and product details.

3. Foundation and anchoring

The product must be installed on a solid, level, stable, well-drained foundation and anchored according to the user manual. Anchoring is required for stability, rigidity, wind resistance, and extended warranty validity.

4. Exclusions

This warranty excludes improper assembly, improper foundation, failure to anchor, weather damage, acts of nature, misuse, commercial use, modification, normal wear, cosmetic aging, fading, scratches, stains, labor, installation, dismantling, reassembly, and loss of stored items.

5. Remedies

TERKKIN may provide troubleshooting, replacement parts, replacement components, store credit, replacement product, or prorated refund at its discretion. TERKKIN does not provide on-site repair or labor reimbursement.

6. Legal rights

This commercial limited warranty is in addition to and does not affect any statutory rights available under applicable law.

Part E - Internal Operating Notes

Internal use only. Do not publish this section on customer-facing pages.

Customer Service Claim Decision Checklist

· Verify Product Serial ID and whether the product is registered.

· Verify original purchase channel, purchase date, proof of purchase, and whether the seller is authorized.

· Check if the product is still within Basic Limited Warranty or registered Extended Commercial Limited Warranty.

· Confirm the product remains in the original installation location and has not been moved, modified, cut, painted, or repaired with non-TERKKIN parts.

· Collect photos of foundation, drainage, completed assembly, anchoring points, affected parts, and product label.

· Determine whether the issue is a manufacturing/material defect, shipping damage, missing part, installation error, foundation issue, weather damage, misuse, or cosmetic aging.

· Use replacement parts as the default remedy. Escalate whole-product replacement, store credit, or prorated refund only with manager approval.

· Close the claim record after the remedy is completed and update the serial ID warranty history.

Market / Channel Order Handling Rules

Red-Line Rules for Customer-Facing Teams

· Never promise lifetime warranty, unconditional warranty, weatherproof warranty, storm warranty, free on-site repair, labor reimbursement, or coverage for stored-item loss.

· Never require a positive review, specific star rating, or public social media post in exchange for warranty support.

· Never approve cash refund for third-party orders without checking whether the original platform/retailer already refunded the customer.

· Never ship high-value parts without verifying serial ID, product version, and claim history.

· Never expand commercial-use warranty without written approval from TERKKIN legal/commercial management.

Part F - Source and Legal-Reference Notes
