The Number That Decides This Purchase

Ask someone shopping for a patio shed how big they need and they will answer in liters. It is the wrong number to start with.

On a balcony, a townhouse patio, or the narrow strip between a fence and a back door, capacity is almost never the limit. Depth is. A storage shed that sticks out too far turns a walkway into a squeeze, and you feel it every single day. The extra storage stops being worth anything the moment you have to turn sideways to get past it.

TERKKIN has released the RIDGENOR 670L vertical shed, and it is built around that constraint. The footprint is 2.6 ft wide by 2.1 ft deep. It launches in two wood finishes at once: Dark Walnut 3D and Warm Oak 3D.

At 2.1 feet deep it sits flat against a wall and leaves the path in front of it usable. That is the whole design brief.

Dark Walnut or Warm Oak

Releasing both finishes together is deliberate. A shed this size usually ends up somewhere you see it from indoors, so the color is not a footnote. It is most of the decision.

Dark Walnut 3D reads close to black from a few steps away. Dark colors recede, which is useful on a small balcony where a pale storage shed would be the first thing your eye lands on. If the space is already tight, the darker finish makes it feel less crowded.

Warm Oak 3D goes the other way. It is light and warm, close to natural decking timber, and it suits pale render, light stone, and gardens built around soft colors. On a shaded balcony it lifts a corner that would otherwise feel dim.

Both are molded grain. The texture is pressed into the panel rather than printed onto it, so it has physical depth you can feel with your hand. Both use TERKKIN's UV Lock surface with a color-fade-resistant finish.

Sun exposure matters more on a small unit: a balcony shed often gets direct afternoon sun on one face and none on the other. If that describes your space, the darker finish hides uneven weathering better over time.

What Goes Inside a Tall Shed?

670 liters standing up is a different proposition from 670 liters lying down. Height is what makes long-handled things workable. A rake, a broom, a spade and a trimmer all stand upright against the back wall and still leave the front half clear for everything else.

Typical loads: hand tools, a folded drying rack, potting soil, a hose reel, cleaning supplies, seat cushions in the off season, and the recycling you would rather not keep at the front of the house.

The interior ships open. Shelves and hooks are sold separately, which keeps the price honest if all you need is floor space. If you are storing small items, budget for at least one shelf. A tall shed with nothing in it becomes a pile, and a pile is not storage.

Locking Up and Building It

The doors close onto TERKKIN's Secure Latch System, with an integrated point that takes a standard padlock. The padlock is not included, so add one to the order if the shed is going anywhere shared, like a walk-up building or a corner lot.

Assembly is a flat-pack job with labeled parts, illustrated instructions, and the two hex keys in the box. Two people are recommended. Nothing needs sawing, sealing or painting, and resin does not rust or rot, so maintenance for the life of the shed is washing it.

Shipping is free in the contiguous United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii, with transit of 7 to 17 days depending on region. It comes with a 60-day risk-free trial.

Register for 10 years: register your shed with its product code after delivery and the warranty runs 10 years. Unregistered units are covered for one year, so it is worth the five minutes.
